Financial Incentives 

Let Tourism Hamilton give your event a financial boost with our special incentive program.

WHAT FUNDING IS AVAILABLE?
Incentive funding is based on the following:

  • $250.00 – 25-75 room nights utilized in Hamilton Hotels/Residences/B&B’s
  • $500.00 – 75-150 room nights utilized in Hamilton Hotels/Residences/B&B’s
  • $750.00 – 150-250 room nights utilized in Hamilton Hotels/Residences/B&B’s
  • $1000.00 – 250+ room nights utilized in Hamilton Hotels/Residences/B&B’s

Organizations that host more than 1 eligible event in Hamilton per calendar year may submit multiple applications. PLEASE NOTE, THE ORGANIZATION IS only eligible for funding to a maximum of $3,000.00 per calendar year.

Festivals, special events, carnivals or celebrations shall be required to seek financial support directly from the City of Hamilton Community Enrichment Fund. In no circumstances shall funding be provided by Tourism Hamilton Convention Incentives in addition to funding from the City of Hamilton Community Enrichment Fund.

In return for receiving an incentive, event organizers are to include recognition of Tourism Hamilton (either logo or wording) in the event program, advertising, brochures and flyers, websites and social media or other agreed upon recognition.

Tourism Hamilton has the right to review and change the application without notice

Get to know Mélanie St-Germain

 

After being one of the youngest directors of finance in the automobile industry, Mélanie St Germain opened her own restaurant at only 24 years old.  Following a successful transition from restoration to a position in the group department of a Golf Club, Melanie was chosen by Château Vaudreuil Hôtel & Suites to be their Sales and Marketing Director, strengthening for four years their group business.
Thus, it is strong from more than 15 years of experience in sales and customer service, with diversified background and network that Mélanie St Germain joins with pride the Club Med team.

Get to know Hugo Veilleux

 

Hugo Veilleux joined the Club Med team as manager of commercial development for Meetings, Incentives, and Corporate Events (MICE) in February 2016. With experience in group travel and in B2B business development, his expertise is a valuable addition to the Meetings & Events team.

To date, Hugo has had the opportunity to visit over 20 countries, and he even worked in Australia in 2015. He has a B.A. in Communications, and also has a passion for arts and the theatre. In Hugo’s words, “we have two ears and only one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak”! You will definitely appreciate his ability to listen, as well as his contagious enthusiasm.

Sales got into my life through the back door. After studying journalism, cinematography, literature and art history, I worked in sales to pay for my scholarship and have developed a true interest for it. For over 20 years, I have worked in different areas such as telecommunications, publishing, the hotel industry and now in a destination marketing organization. My biggest passion is to travel. I have travelled around the world backpacking and have also worked overseas as a destination representative in the Bahamas and Dominican Republic for a few years. Selling a destination is really a perfect combination of interest, experience and passion for me!

10 years ago, I completely fell in love with the Outaouais, a destination so rich and unique in possibilities.  What an incredible opportunity to have the chance to live in a region showing so much diversity and a place with more than 650km of bicycle paths that give me the chance to practice cycling, a sport that became a true passion.

In the process of getting my Certified meeting planner accreditation, I really want to continue to improve myself as a sales manager and to be able to give you the best experience possible in planning your event.  To become you first point of contact for the Outaouais region is definitely my primary goal.
