3. Petroglyphs Provincial Park, located in Peterborough County had the largest known concentration of aboriginal rock carvings in Canada

4. You can see 2 of only a handful of authentic Jacquard looms that can be viewed in North America at Lang Pioneer Village Museum, just outside of Peterborough

5. Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park is the largest wilderness preserve south of Algonquin Park
