York University is located in the northern area of Toronto, 15 minutes to Pearson Airport, 10 minutes to Canada’s Wonderland, bordered by three major highways, lots of on campus parking and connected to downtown Toronto with two subway stations on campus (Dec. 2017). At York University we have everything you need to have an excellent event, meeting, stay or sporting event. Accommodation and Conference Services is a one stop shop with one contact, one contract and one invoice. We have various sizes and styles of meeting space to offer, contracted caterers to meet your needs and several different accommodation options to satisfy your guests. Our meeting space ranges from 500 person lecture halls to 20 person seminar rooms and everything in-between. If your group requires sports facilities we have world class space: multiple grass or turf playing fields, different sizes of gyms and studios, swimming pool and a world class track and field centre that hosted the Pan Am Games, North American Indigenous Games and the Invictus Games. At York University we can work with your budget and needs to make your event a success.

CLAIR COLLEGE CENTRE FOR THE ARTS offers a spacious main ballroom of 13,566 square feet, 2 ballrooms of 4000 square feet, 6 breakout rooms, and 2 stationary boardrooms. Let’s not forget the Chrysler Theatre a 1,200 seat theatre equipped with state of the art multimedia which can provide a dramatic atmosphere for your keynote speakers.

BEST WESTERN PLUS Waterfront Hotel is the anchor hotel for ST. CLAIR COLLEGE CENTRE FOR THE ARTS. Both facilities are inter-connected on two levels. This allows your attendees to easily transit indoors between buildings as they move about your conference, regardless of weather.

The Alumni Sklyline room offers a contemporary look and feel. Floor to ceiling windows provide a spectacular view of the Detroit skyline.  The main room can be divided into smaller rooms to accommodate the size of your event.  From tradeshows to social gatherings, intimate to opulent.

The International Rooms can be opened to create a full size event space that sits adjacent to an Outdoor Terrace overlooking the Detroit skyline or can become 5 breakout rooms with state of the art audio visual equipment.

The Outdoor Terrace is an ideal setting for cocktail receptions and social events.  

The Great Lakes Ballroom is a spacious ballroom that can be transformed into three separate rooms or combined as one to host galas and social events.

Founded in 1843, Bishop’s University is resting on a historical site known for its tranquility and unparalleled natural beauty.  Bishop’s University is located in the City of Sherbrooke, along the Montréal-United States-Québec city corridor.

Bishop’s offer several types of accommodation including apartment, semi-private room, dorm style and can welcome group up to 800 participants. Sheridan Conference Centre & Residence

The Sheridan Conference Centre & Residence at Sheridan’s Trafalgar Campus is a dynamic, 7,000 square-foot event space that will ignite creativity and bring style to your next event!

Located in the beautiful and historic lakefront town of Oakville, Ontario, your guests will have easy access to Pearson International Airport, downtown Toronto, and Niagara Falls. If you are looking for a way to minimize distractions for your guests while also providing options for downtown activities, Oakville may be the perfect fit.

All groups are offered free Wi-Fi; basic AV is included with most function space rentals. Complimentary parking is included for events at the Conference Centre and with overnight lodging on campus. On site catering and bar services are available at all campus locations.

Hotel-style residence guest suites are available May through August and feature two private rooms, each with a double bed. In suite amenities include cable TV, kitchenette with full-sized fridge, microwave and private washroom. Free parking, local calls, wifi, and housekeeping included. Building amenities include a games room, fitness room, on site laundry, movie lounge, full shared kitchens, and an outdoor BBQ space.

At all of Sheridan’s campuses (Oakville, Brampton, Mississauga), we also have different venues for every event:

  • Conference Centre (capacity up to 330 guests, Oakville only)
  • Flexible classrooms (capacity up to 60 guests)
  • Lecture halls (capacity up to 172 guests)
