White Oaks Resort & Spa recently launched their own winery tour service. “We had this brand new shuttle which holds 12 people with the purpose of transporting guests of the hotel into the town, to the Shaw Festival, over to the Falls etc. It naturally evolved that we start taking guests to some of our key winery partners.” said Richard Reid, Executive Director of Sales and Hotel Operations. Led by an experienced and very knowledgeable driver, the tours are fully customizable. What do you want to see and experience? In Niagara, the sheer variety of winery experiences available to visitors and guests is astounding and a knowledgeable tour guide is key. In one day a person can tour a well established estate winery right through to the smallest start-up doing tastings in the barn… or their kitchen!

The White Oaks Wine Tour is, like our wineries, unique for our guests. You can discuss with the driver what sort of wineries you are looking to visit, small or large estates? Tiny new wineries, eco-friendly or family owned? Then we’ll suit the tour to your likes and off we go! No packages to select from, just three hours of fun driving around Niagara and experiencing some of our in-credible local sights!

Groups make an impact with Fairmont’s Meetings that Matter

Meetings are important for achieving business objectives but can also have a positive impact beyond the meeting room, as companies and planners seek out ways to make a meaningful difference in the communities and destinations where they gather.  The Meetings that Matter program affords groups the opportunity to donate part of their room revenue to the charity of their choice at the brand’s more than 60 hotels worldwide.
