It’s all about good beers

Beer and brewing are an important part of the Outaouais region’s history. Find out all about it with a stroll along Brewery Creek (no joke) and a visit to a century-old former brewery that’s now home to Les Brasseurs du Temps microbrewery and brewing heritage museum. After touring the museum, have a seat in the pub and sample a few craft beers, all brewed on site using the finest ingredients. Not far away on Île-de-Hull is the Gainsbourg bistro and microbrewery, a relaxed gastropub offering house-brewed craft beer and a great selection of microbrews on tap and in bottles from throughout Quebec. Gainsbourg beers are also available at the venerable Chelsea Pub, just outside Gatineau Park. In Aylmer, choose from more than 564 beers originating from 31 regions at the bistro L’autre Oeil. The Outaouais: so many beers to try, so little time!
